"At a reception held by the union construction and investment Company in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi Dr. Muhammad Al sabawi called on the Palestinian businessmen in the UAE to invest in Palestine".

Dr. Al Sabawi, Chairman of UCI's Board of Directors met with a group of Arab and Palestinian investors and businessmen in the UAE during a reception held by the UCI at The Rottana Beach Hotel in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi on 05/12/2006.

The motto "Investing in Palestine" dominated the meeting. "it is the moral and national duty of each Palestinian or Arab investor to contribute towards building Palestinian economy" Dr. Al Sabawi said.

"Own a house in Palestine" is the motto used by the UCI in all the countries of the Diaspora" Dr. Al Sabawi added.

During the reception Dr. Al Sabawi announced the launch of the UCI's first project "Etihad Neighborhood" in the governorate of Ramalla – Al Beira.

Dr. Al Sabawi also said that UCI would be listed on the Palestine Securities Exchange in the near future.

The reception was attended by HE the Palestinian ambassador Dr. Khairy Al Aridi, the head of the Palestinian labor council, engineer Marwan Al tteri, and a group of prominent businessmen and investors.

The reception attended by the Palestinian businessmen and investors in Abu Dhabi during which the UCI's projects were presented was mentioned in the media in the Arab world.
