On 14/04/2007 Al Ayyam newspaper reported a through analysis of the performance of investment sector in the Palestine securities exchange for the week ending April 12, 2007 that includes trading of the UCI's shares.

Investment Sector.

The investment sector index closed at 46.13 points increased by 1.14% compared to 45.61 points in the previous week.

The index has been driven by the leading share of the Palestine Development And Investment Company (PADICO) that increased by 1.12% closing at US$ 2.71 against US$ 2.68 in the previous week.

The PADICO's share lead the market where 974,600 shares were traded accounting for 34.1 % of the total number of traded shares with total value US$ 2.7 million accounting for 39.1% of the total value traded in the market last week.

The UCI's share closed at US$ 1.38 increased by 4.55 %. The total value of UCI's traded shares is US$ 664,000 accounting for 9.6% of the total value of the last week's trading.
